Se stai pianificando un viaggio in aereo e desideri portare con te il tuo amato amico a quattro zampe, ti starai chiedendo come farlo. Che tu stia volando da o per l’Italia, o tra altri paesi, ci sono alcune cose fondamentali da sapere per assicurarti che il tuo animale viaggi in modo sicuro e confortevole.
Opzioni di viaggio
Innanzitutto, hai due principali opzioni quando si tratta di far viaggiare il tuo animale:
- Affidarti a una Società Specializzata (Pet Relocator): Queste società sono esperte nel trasporto di animali e si occupano di tutti gli aspetti del viaggio del tuo animale. Tuttavia, ci sono alcuni costi associati e il tuo animale potrebbe sentirsi più stressato, dato che il viaggio potrebbe durare di più senza la tua compagnia.
Occorrerà comunque portare l’animale da un veterinario per le vaccinazioni prescritte, farsi rilasciare i certificati e si dovrà organizzare il ricevimento a destinazione (in aeroporto di arrivo o al domicilio in Italia) - Viaggiare con il tuo animale: Puoi scegliere di far viaggiare il tuo animale come ‘bagaglio registrato‘ o in cabina come ‘bagaglio aggiuntivo‘ (Lufthansa offre questa soluzione). Questa opzione è spesso meno costosa e ti permette di essere vicino al tuo animale per tutto il viaggio. Tieni presente che ci sono limitazioni sul numero di animali permessi in cabina, quindi prenota in anticipo!
Preparativi per il Viaggio
- Gabbia/Trasportino: Se il tuo animale viaggia nella stiva, avrà bisogno di una gabbia robusta e approvata dalle compagnie aeree. Se viaggia in cabina, il trasportino dovrebbe essere morbido con aperture protette. Ricorda, c’è un limite di peso per gli animali in cabina (il peso massimo totale trasportino + animale è di 8 Kg), e che un solo un animale per trasportino è permesso.
- Documenti: Oltre ai documenti richiesti dalle autorità (come NSParks), ogni compagnia aerea potrebbe avere i propri moduli da compilare. Assicurati di avere tutti i documenti necessari prima del viaggio.
Viaggiare tra Italia e Singapore
Se stai pianificando di viaggiare tra l’Italia e Singapore con il tuo animale, ci sono alcune cose specifiche da sapere:
- Esportazione da Singapore: Devi controllare i requisiti di importazione del paese di destinazione e ottenere tutte le licenze e certificati necessari. Ci sono processi online specifici da seguire, e vari documenti da preparare e presentare.
- Importazione a Singapore: L’Italia è classificata come un paese di Categoria B. Gli animali provenienti da questi paesi non necessitano di quarantena all’arrivo a Singapore, a condizione che siano soddisfatti tutti i requisiti. Questi includono la microchippatura, la vaccinazione contro la rabbia, e altri test e certificati.
Nota per l’ingresso in Italia: Per entrare in Italia da Singapore, il tuo animale dovrà avere vaccinazioni specifiche, registrate sul suo libretto sanitario. È anche necessario un certificato di buona salute rilasciato da un veterinario.
In conclusione, viaggiare con il tuo animale richiede una pianificazione e preparazione accurata. Che tu scelga di utilizzare una società specializzata o di viaggiare con il tuo animale, assicurati di avere tutti i documenti necessari e di essere a conoscenza di tutte le regolamentazioni. In aggiunta ai documenti prescritti da NSParks (vedi la tabella nel seguito) ogni compagnia aerea ha dei propri moduli da compilare: occorre informarsi sui siti delle varie Compagnie aeree.
Bringing pet to Italy and back to Singapore
| Exporting your pet(s): 1. Check the import requirements of your country of destination. 2. Apply for an AVS Export Licence via GoBusiness Licensing Portal (https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/licences) within 30 days of export > (Please select ” Apply for new licence ” > click on “Browse All Licences” > select “Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS)” > select ”Licence to import/Export/Tranship Animals/Birds/Eggs/Biologics”). 3. The AVS export licence is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The fee is S$50 per licence for normal service (issued 2 working days from receipt of complete documents. Application status may be enquired online by quoting the application number. The licence can be printed at your end after approval, following fee payment electronically (e.g. credit card, Internet banking). We have attached the step-by-step guide for your easy reference. Please indicate your pet’s date of birth (MM) & (YYYY), dog licence number, and microchip number in the application form. 4. Apply for an AVS Veterinary Certificate via GoBusiness Licensing Portal (https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/licences) > (Please select ” Apply for new licence ” > click on “Browse All Licences” > select “SFA/NPARKS/AVS LICENCES” > search ”Veterinary Certificate”). Please obtain the template of the health certificate from the relevant veterinary authority in the country of destination. You may bring your pet for an examination by your private veterinarian once you obtain the health certificate template, within 7 days of export. Your private veterinarian will have to complete and sign the health certificate. After completion, apply for the AVS Veterinary Certificate and proceed to our drop off box to submit the completed health certificate and bring along all original supporting documents (e.g. original vaccination records and laboratory test results (if applicable)) for the manual endorsement. To ensure that you submit all necessary documents, please download and complete the attached checklist for Veterinary Certificate (VC) Application for Export of Dogs & Cats from Singapore. Please attach the checklist to your hardcopy supporting documents and deposit them at the drop-off box located on Level 1 of JEM office tower, next to the security counter. Please allow 1 working day for the manual endorsement. Drop off box: 52 Jurong Gateway Road JEM Office Tower, Level 1 Singapore 608550 5. Before you export your pet, please ensure that the animals are accompanied by: · a copy of your AVS Export Licence, · the original Veterinary Health Certificate that meets the requirements of the country of destination, and · any other additional supporting documents required by the country of destination. Dogs and cats coming from Category B countries do not need to undergo any quarantine on arrival in Singapore, provided import requirements of the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of the National Parks Board (NParks), are met. We have briefly summarised our requirements for import from Category B countries. Please read the Veterinary Conditions for further details. Ensure your pet is microchipped and that the microchip number is stated on all vaccination records and blood test reports. Vaccinate your pet against rabies more than 1 month before your scheduled date of arrival. Get a blood sample taken for a rabies antibody titre test more than 1 month after the rabies vaccination. The antibody titre must be equal to or greater than 0.5IU/ml for the pet to enter Singapore. Following the blood sampling date for the serology, your pet must maintain valid rabies vaccination. Make sure your pet’s basic vaccinations are up to date. If not, make sure they are given more than 2 weeks before your scheduled date of arrival. Take your pet to a vet for internal and external parasite treatment and obtain a health certificate, which must then be endorsed by the Veterinary Authority in the country of export no more than 7 days prior to export. A template of the health certificate can be found in the Veterinary Conditions. Firstly, apply an AVS-issued import licence within 30 days of import at: https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/licences > (Please select ” Apply for new licence ” > click on “Browse All Licences” > select “Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS)” > select ”Licence to import/Export/Tranship Animals/Birds/Eggs/Biologics”). Please indicate your pet’s date of birth (MM) & (YYYY), dog licence number (for dogs only), and microchip number in the application form. Please attach a copy of your pet’s rabies vaccination and final serology test report showing antibodies level of at least 0.5 IU/ml in the online application. Please note that the AVS-issued import licence is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The fee is S$50 per licence for normal service (issued within 2 working days from receipt of complete documents). Application status may be enquired online by quoting the application number at https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/licences. Following the approval of the AVS import licence, please make an appointment for your pet’s inspection at Changi Animal and Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) station by submitting an online booking request via https://ifast.sfa.gov.sg/eserviceweb//eserviceweb/. Submit your request at least 5 working days prior to arrival in Singapore. Please note that pets arriving for inspection without any prior booking appointment will be subjected to an $80 inspection fee during office hours. We encourage owners to select flights that arrive in Singapore before 8pm to allow the pets to reach CAPQ during CAPQ’s opening hours. The operating hours of Changi Animal and Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) are: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 8.00am to 10.30pm Tuesdays, Thursdays – 9.00am to 9.00pm Saturdays – 10.00am to 10.30pm Lunch hour – 1pm to 2pm Sundays and Public Holidays – Closed Animals that arrive outside of CAPQ’s opening hours will be held at the respective Ground Handling Agents’ air-conditioned animal holding room overnight. Note:
Per l’ingresso in Italia arrivando da Singapore :
- è necessario che l’animale sia stato vaccinato (nel caso di gatti vaccinazione trivalente + Felv in corso di validità + vaccinazione antirabbica eseguita un mese prima del viaggio),
- Le vaccinazioni devono essere registrate sul libretto sanitario dell’animale
- Occorre inoltre un certificato di buona salute dell’animale rilasciato dal veterinario.
- animali che arrivano direttamente da Singapore (NON in transito) sono esentati dalla quarantena.
Nel caso di rientro a Singapore occorre far fare dal veterinario la titolazione della vaccinazione antirabbica.
