SUMMARY:RLFB - The Rachma Lim Fellowship Band @ The Jazz Loft
DESCRIPTION:This Saturday\, August 5\, the Jazz Loft will host the Indonesian starlet Rachma Lim’s Fellowship Band (RLFB) in a horn-led version of her grooving compositions. \nItalian saxophonist and composer Andreas Marinello will join Lim’s ever-creative force\, along with Ben Low on drums\, Judy Tsai on Bass\, and Leo Jeoh on trombone. \nThe ever-creative force of Rachma Lim reinvents her Fellowship Band lineup to include this new trombone/alto sax led combination\, with 2 of the island’s best instrumental improvisers interpreting Rachma’s grooving\, quirky and angular compositions. \nThe tone and rhythmic ideas of Leo Jeoh\, along with the joyous and lyrical effusion of Andreas Marinello\, is a winning combination.
